So that you can see the value of CHILL in the Living Room, you can download the first chapter, Dwelling in Post Peak World and the Table of Contents, for free.
To read the sample chapter, you need Adobe Reader. Many computers already have this installed, so just go ahead and click on the "Download Sample Chapter" link below.
If the sample chapter download does not start to appear within about two minutes—this may take as long as five minutes on a dial up line, but you can see the progress on the bottom left of your screen—it means that you need to download Adobe Reader. (You will need Adobe Reader to use CHILL in the Living Room anyway)
Note that if you have a slow dial up line, even after the progress note on the bottom left of your screen says Done, there may be a further delay of up to five minutes before you can scroll down .
If you need to download Adobe Reader:
- Click the Back button on your browser and come back to this page.
- Open a new browser page by leaving this one open and clicking on the browser icon (Explorer, NetScape, etc.), which is probably on your desk top.
- Go to www.adobe.com and download Reader. It's free!
- After that, come back to this browser window and read the sample chapter.
